A female patient presented with complaints of persistent and severe facial acne. A detailed history was taken, including onset, duration, previous treatments, skincare routine, dietary habits, and any hormonal irregularities. On examination, multiple inflammatory lesions were noted, including papules, pustules, and nodules distributed over the cheeks, forehead, and chin, consistent with severe acne vulgaris.
The patient was diagnosed based on clinical findings and severity grading. Management included patient education, lifestyle and dietary modifications, and a tailored treatment plan. Pharmacological therapy consisted of topical retinoids and antibiotics, along with oral medication where indicated to control inflammation and bacterial growth. The patient was advised regular follow-up to monitor response and adjust treatment accordingly.
